Medical cannabis certification is based on an individual clinical evaluation and Massachusetts eligibility requirements.

Determination is made by a qualified healthcare professional based on an individual medical evaluation and applicable Massachusetts requirements. Certification does not guarantee approval by the Massachusetts Medical Use of Marijuana Program.

How the Process Works

Do I Qualify?

Massachusetts allows medical cannabis certification for patients diagnosed with a qualifying debilitating medical condition. A registered healthcare professional determines whether medical cannabis may provide therapeutic benefit to each patient on an individual basis.

Conditions that qualify include certain forms of:

  • Cancer

  • Glaucoma

  • HIV/AIDS

  • Hepatitis C

  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

  • Crohn's disease

  • Parkinson's disease

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • & Other debilitating conditions as determined under Massachusetts law

A healthcare professional must evaluate your individual circumstances and determine whether you qualify.

If you're unsure whether you may qualify, schedule an evaluation with us. A healthcare provider will determine whether certification is appropriate based on your individual circumstances.
